Interesting, they have very similar looks and you can definitely see a trend in “adventure style”… what do you think?

It would be nice if Cartoon Network allowed more pilots that aren’t “remember Adventuretime?!?!”. So far the closest they gone to that recently were the 5 or so pilots produced by the studio behind Gumball.

Infinity Train seems cool, kind of got an Over the Garden Wall sort of vibe but with a bit of sci-fi mixed in. Victor & Valentino is alright I guess. Nothing about it really leaps out at me aside from reminding me of that maze sequence in The Book of Life.

Infinity Train does capture that Adventure Time/Over the Garden Wall feel that was mentioned before. I think it’s also got some Gravity Falls/Scooby-Doo Mysteries INC in there with the whole mystery of the number deal. I also dig that robot having two personalities, they make me think of Wheatley from Portal 2 and Marvin from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Victor & Valentino interests me as someone who really digs Mexican culture. Luchadores, Day of the Dead, Aztec/Mayan legends, I’m all about it. It’s like something Jorge Gutierrez (Mind behind El Tigre & The Book of Life) would think up.

I’m curious to see where they both may go if taken in by the network. I love the adventure cartoons (Mostly due to me being hooked to Samurai Jack and Johnny Quest before that haha) and pleased to see they might be seeing another resurgence on CN

I am honestly Surprised with how much i enjoyed both of these more so Infinity Train! I like the concept and i like the way that show could potential go! IF they stayed with an over arching story like Avatar the last air bender!

Victor and Valentino really felt like it would be more episodic in the vain of the new regular show! I at first was like eh but the more i watched through the pilot the more i liked its charm!

I am not sure how CN works with picking up Pilots as series these days but i hope infinity train gets picked up for a season!

I feel these are both stronger and more appealing then Mighty Magiswords
